F.A.Q

What are mobile payments?

The answers actually in the name. Mobile payments are paying with a mobile device, mainly your smartphone. This makes for a more convenient and rewarding experience both for user and merchant. For example people can now pre order and pre pay for their coffee’s before leaving the office so when they arrive at the cafe their order is ready, and because they have already paid there is no waiting.

This allows merchants to take more orders over a longer time especially during the run up to peak service hours. The user has a better experience because of the fact they don’t have a long queue time and can also be rewarded with loyalty points built into the App.

Also they can save favourite orders so any future checkout can happen in a single touch. Just like magic! There is no more filling out billing information or other long forms. All of that information is saved in the customers phone.

Are mobile payments needed for my business?

With over 60% of all online payments now being made through mobile its safe to say that cash is definitely not king anymore. In fact in 2014 electronic transactions overtook cash for the first time ever! With the surge of new technology the annual growth in mobile payments is going to be 43% every year until 2018.
